Lithuanian Forest Foods at the 15th c. Merchant House

Lithuanian restaurant in Vilnius Old Town is a second-generation family restaurant, which specializes in historical traditional Lithuanian cuisine. Our menu narrates olden stories of Lithuanian noblemen, who feasted on forest foods like berries, mushrooms, nuts, and game.

Our goal is to take a new look at old forest foods, which nourished Lithuanian nobility, and give them a modern twist. We guide you through the history of local cuisine and offer dishes with reference to a certain century and related historical facts.

The restaurant recently opened a small deli shop with selected Lithuanian delicacies and drinks. They are produced by small local farmers and producers and offer a glimpse into continuation (and change) of Lithuanian culinary heritage.
